GOLD to Denmark in the Team Race at the European Track Cycling Championships
These days, the European Track Cycling Championships are held in Grenchen, Switzerland. As for the men, Denmark is represented by what can rightly be called "the new young team", as the team is made up of young talents.
The young riders went to the European Championships without great expectations and can now call themselves European Champions.
In a close team competition, the Danish national team beat host Switzerland.
The new Danish golden boys are:
Carl-Frederik Bevort (17 years old), Tobias Aagaard (19 years old), Matias Malmberg (21 years old) and Rasmus Lund Pedersen (23 years old)
