POST DANMARK RUNDT
After a year of stop due to the Pandemic, in August the Post Danmark Rundt returned, the spectacular stage race that winds along the Scandinavian roads and which saw the participation of six WorldTour teams and the Italian Bardiani and Vini Zabù.
Remco Evenepoel after winning the third stage, also won in the final time trial of the short Danish stage race beating Søren Kragh Andersen (Team DSM) by just one second.
Evenepoel confirmed the first position in the general classification, where Pedersen is second, at 1’42 "from the Belgian talent and ahead of Mike Teunissen (Jumbo-Visma), third at 2 '.
The Danish Mad Pedersen, world champion in Harrogate in 2019, in addition to the spectacular victory in the second stage, won the primacy in the points classification.
