Rich medal count for the Danish team, three Golds and a Silver on four of the five Olympic disputed disciplines !!
The 2019 edition of the European Track Championships in Apeldorn (Holland) ended yesterday afternoon; double victory for Danish riders in Madison, both male and female, with Michael Morkov, Lasse Norman Hansen, Amalie Dideriksen and Julie Leth.
In this European championship we cannot fail to mention the great emotion and joy that the Danish quartet’s trial gave us in the team pursuit (Rasmus Lund, Frederik Rodenberg, Lasse Norman Hansen and Julius Johansen), with Gold medal and Record Danish and European in 3’48 "762, coming to touch the world record. Still Lasse Norman Hansen, after an exciting race, gets silver in the Omnium.
The Danish medal collection, with three golds and a silver on four of the five Olympics disputed disciplines, confirms the immense value of the athletes and gives great hope for the Tokyo Olympics in August 2020.
